How do I find an old movie with the circumstance that the King or Prince or some higher-up in the kingdom who somehow comes across a young peasant boy who did some good deed and then takes this kid to the castle, raises him, and the kid becomes something/somebody of importance?

This is a theme I hope to intertwine in a matter I am writing, but just don’t know how to track down such old movies. I’m 70 now and recall sittingn through such wonderful stories in the very early 1950s.

Thanx if you cann give me a hand.

  5. Sometime ago I saw a b & w mystery that included photography of shadows that was the forerunner of future mystery movies … prior to Hitchcock and that he incorporated in his films.

  13. Hi Mary. I can’t say why that could happen. Is there some sort of an error showing up? Everything is working fine on my end so hopefully it was a temporary issue. Do let me know if the problem persists.

Great to see these old movies.
How about “The shape of things to come”
No bad language, no gratuitous violence,
no weird sex, movies as they were meant to be.
