  1. great 4 stars

  2. Quite mild as compared to some of the “treatments” that occurred in sanitariums in the 1940’s.

  3. Enjoyable horror atmosphere in this murder thriller. If you accept the over the top acting at times still an interesting view. Not Dial M for Murder or a Barbara Stanwyck turn at her heights but worth a look.

  4. Enjoyed this movie. People keep comparing the acting style to now. Give the actors a break. This was how they were taught. Give this movie a try
    You’ll like it.

  5. As always I enjoy watching Mr. Vincent Price! He is so smooth even when he’s horrid! But at least everyone got their just rewards!

  6. CHRISTOPHER M MYERS

It was indeed a real thriller. It could as easily been a horror genre flick with, once again, a woman who was far from “Sugar and spice and everything nice.” It was indeed gripping.

  7. Christopher Myers

A thriller, but yes, it could as easily been of the “horror” genre. Once again a calculating woman who was not “Sugar and spice and everything nice.” The story is ages old in truth and in fiction. “… but screw your courage to the sticking place and we’ll not fail.”
