Wow! All I can say is that this is a wonderful love story; just superb! Excellently directed and acted by the whole cast. There were a lot of great movies in 1939 and I think that this is on a par with them. It is Hollywood still recognizing the complexity of the human condition; of human emotion and interplay. Thanks for having it on the site. Five stars from me!
