Ah, Hoppy once agan saves the day! That about says it all for all the heros in those thrilling golden days of the Western. We jammed the theaters in the 1940’s to watch and cheer for them. Thee were a lot of Western serials, too, with every episode lookind as if the hero was going to meet an early demise, but while he always escaped it at the last second, we didn’t know how until the next Saturday. Really good stuff for us young boys.
