  1. To my humble opinion, this movie should also be categorized as a humor genre. Only I don’t get the categories right on this site. The movie has the drama label but the drama label is not mentioned on the top menu. But this is a great site, I simply love American black and white flicks. Says a European.

  2. Hi Pieter,

Thank you for sharing your opinion. The movie’s categorization has been updated! The top menu simply cannot fit all possible categories. I should probably change it to a drop down menu. I guess it will be more helpful that way.

    Thanks and Happy Holidays!

  3. funny movie . the kidnapped damsel should have been tied up

  4. I enjoyed the movie. It was “silly” but I was in the mood for “Silly.” I love old Black and White movies from the 30s, 40s and early 50s. People had talent and didn’t need to undress and use profanity throughout the movie.

  5. Hahah, very well said JD! Special effects, black humor and sex are the only selling points now… Too bad!

  6. I agree with you, “brwmovies.com. Well said.

I cut all ties with cable, satellite and anything else that requires a contract and monthly payments for watching movies, TV shows, etc., and all I have now is just what I can get with the over-the-air programming with the use of my TV converter box (I don’t have an HD capable TV so I had to purchase the converter box). When there is nothing worth watching(99%) of the time on the telly, and I want to see something decent, I come to sites like this.

I am very thankful for this site because most other free movie online sites offer the latest movies very generously, but I have to search for long periods of time to find a decent “old” movie. The movies they offer so abundantly—unfortunately, most of them just are not my “cup of tea.” I’m as old-fashioned as some of these old movies from the past, I enjoy them, and won’t apologize for my “excellent” taste 🙂

Keep up the good work. People, such as I, appreciate you and your efforts in bringing good, old, decent, easy to watch movies which allows us to view and enjoy with both eyes and ears open as we know there is nothing in them to cause us to watch apprehensively. Good plots with good actors don’t require the use of nudity and profanity. Again, THANK YOU!!!

  7. You are very welcome JD! I actually don’t even have cable. I only have a digital antenna attached to my TV and I get about 50 channels with perfect quality for free, just like that! They include Fox, ABC and several kids channels for my daughter so it works great for me. If you decide to try that you should know that the channels that you’ll get vary by location. Also, the antenna needs to be in a spot where nothing is obstructing the signals that it can get.

  8. Thanks, Yavor. This is exactly what I have right now and have had since the government took over all the old analog transmissions back in the summer of 2009, and left us with “digital” in place of it. This is what I was trying to describe when I commented that I get “over-the-air programming” with the use of my converter box. I don’t get 50 channels however, and the few I do get show the same boring, silly mess over and over and over all day long. Thank God for Internet TV, movies, sports, documentaries, etc.

Again, THANK you for this wonderful site.

  9. Ah, I thought you were talking about something else. The internet is priceless!

  10. No, unfortunately, my life is so dull until I don’t even know how to talk about anything that is even close to “something else.” Sorry.

Yes, the internet is certainly priceless. It keeps me entertained and it helps make my existence or “life” (such as it is) so much more bearable. Otherwise I don’t know what I’d do.

  11. Dull isn’t bad. As the Chinese curse goes, “May you like in interesting times” 🙂

  12. I love this web site. Some of you have commented on the trend in movies today. Well it is correct people are just going for the perverse in movies. These movies show what true acting is all about.

  13. Another entertaining movie. I was disappointed not to see Eddie Anderson in the cast list. Alot of role characters are what make these movies so great. Supporting cast from the past would put to shame alot of so called leading actors of today. Thank you…

  14. More movies please. I watched most of them lol

  15. Good stuff! Thank you!
These old B & W movies are a breath of fresh air! The Westerns are instructional in moral living and are actually quite character building. Well done and good work.

  16. Great to have these B & W movies, I feel so comfortable with them.

  17. there is sound but no picture.
