Summary: Gil de Berault is a great duelist who does the cardinal's dirty work. After reporting his latest feat to the cardinal, he is warned about a new law which bans dueling. Gil doesn't take the warning seriously and shortly duels in a nearby tavern. Just before Gil's hanging, the cardinal offers him a deal which will save his life, or will it?
