Summary: Peter's grandfather wants him to get married in order to make him the beneficiary of his will which is worth $1,000,000. Peter is in debt, so he is more than happy to accept the proposal. His plan is to marry Alice Blake and bring her in his grandfather's house by midnight or the inheritance will go to his uncle. Alice lives in Kansas City and she is dying to marry Peter, but her airplane gets delayed. She is told by Joe, whom Peter owes money, that Peter has already married another woman... What will happen in this intricate comedy and who will take the inheritance?
