I downloaded Betty Boop Bamboo Isle (Twice actually) and after an age of waiting only the SOUND was downloaded, Any ideas what I am doing wrong please?

Sounds like you don’t have the required video codecs. Either try installing a codec pack or try downloading the .mpg or .mp4 files. Both types are pretty common.
